I will wait to close my shop until I hear advice from some of you. I know other shop owners are feeling the stress from Etsy's changes and I feel their pain. But I am very discouraged over what has happened to my 2 shops this past month. I am sad because I've spent so much time developing both shops and have enjoyed the communication through the forum with you shop owners.
Also my views have dropped to half since July 30th.

I now offer free shipping there on my small items, but sales this past month were half what I usually sell. I am also considering closing my vintage shop for the same reasons. The new changes this year killed my shop. That would give me the option to renew a few items around Christmas, even though I had very few sales last Christmas Season. So I am considering putting my shop on extended vacation. I guess it's true that it's difficult to sell paintings on Etsy. I even offered free shipping during the 3 years on my smaller paintings. This last year my views and sells went way down. I never had very many views daily and just a handful of sales over the 3 years. I've been on Etsy with my Art shop for 3 years.
